Wandile Mngadi is a seasoned leader in Africa’s financial and non-banking sector, currently serving as ACAMS Regional Manager for Africa. With 17 years of experience across risk management, compliance, and financial markets, he has held key roles at Standard Bank, the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, Refinitiv, and the Central Bank of Swaziland. Wandile is a strategic voice in strengthening financial crime prevention frameworks across the continent. He holds a Master’s in Finance and Investment and is pursuing the Certified Cryptoasset Anti-Financial Crime Specialist (CCAS) certification, underscoring his commitment to emerging threats in digital finance. As a judge for the ACAMS Africa Scholarships program, Wandile supports the development of future AML professionals, fostering a diverse and skilled compliance community.
