Dr Aprielle Moraa

Dr Aprielle is a cybersecurity leader with over 15 years of experience in various IT and especially Cybersecurity capacities. Her quintessential objective is to be part of the instrumentality through which some of the globe’s information security challenges are tackled. Her journey in Cybersecurity has been marked by multifaceted roles—entrepreneurship, Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Data Protection Officer (DPO), Cybersecurity and risk trainer and consultant—serving clientele across Africa and beyond. Dr Aprielle is a director and founder at Infosphere Limited – A cybersecurity consulting firm in Kenya. Dr Aprielle also serves as the President of Women in Cyber security East Africa Affiliate.

Dr Aprielle holds a Doctorate degree in Cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University (USA) and an MSc in Internet, Computer and System Security from the University of Bradford (UK) as well as various industry certifications. Her exceptional contributions to the field have been recognized through prestigious Cybersecurity Awards including the Young CISO network as one of the top cybersecurity professionals in Africa and Top 100 Cybersecurity Women to Watch Africa (T1CWWA). As a Commonwealth Africa Cyber Fellow, Dr Aprielle stands at the forefront of cybersecurity advocacy and leadership, driving meaningful change and progress across the continent.
