Mobola Dele-Ojo

Omobolanle Dele-Ojo is a senior Risk and Compliance Executive with 17 years of experience in financial services, specializing in enterprise risk management, regulatory strategy, and operational resilience. She currently serves as the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer at Absa Nigeria, where she leads risk governance and compliance frameworks across multiple entities and provides strategic advice to boards and senior executives on regulatory and organizational matters. Prior to her current role, Omobolanle held leadership positions at AXA Mansard, SunTrust Bank, and Guaranty Trust Bank, where she built and led high-performing risk management teams, designed robust frameworks and models, and guided institutions through complex regulatory changes while strengthening operational resilience. A Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA), Omobolanle holds an Executive MBA from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, and dual bachelor’s degrees in applied accounting and estate management.
